Our Story
Hi and welcome to
The Good Gamers!
We’re a group of friends who love board games, party games, card games (essentially any games we can play together when we hang out)…and we’d love for you to join us!
I’m Rachel, the founder of The Good Gamers and I wanted to set up a channel to bring a bit more joy into the world, I have such a great time playing games with my friends that I thought, “why not involve more people in that?!” and so out popped The Good Gamers – a UK based entertainment channel featuring our favourite games.
Feel free to take a look around the site, hopefully you’ll find a video or two to make you laugh! On the product pages there are links to the games we’ve played in case you want to join in the fun and try them with your own friends or family, some of them use affiliate links so if you do decide to buy any games through the site you’ll also be supporting the channel – huge thank you for that!

Meet the players behind the game
Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel! My parents got me started on Monopoly from a young age (I’m fairly sure they regretted that decision) and from there I just never really grew out of them! The Good Gamers seemed like a great excuse to play more games with my friends and so far that seems to be working!
Matt
Hey, I'm Matt. Back in the early 90s I got my first console and since then have been hooked on gaming in all its forms. Table Top, boardgames, PC or Console I will play (and normally lose ) When I'm not running from killers in DBD, blasting my way through Azaroth or trying to work out the rules to Zombie Dice. You will find me either reading a good book, cooking on my BBQ or shooting my way across an Airsoft field.

Hi I'm Cal, meme connoisseur and general all round joker. Voted most likely to shout 'Get Rekt' the turn before he himself, in fact, gets rekt.
Beki
Hi, I’m Beki. I’ve been gaming my whole life. I’ve been a PlayStation and Xbox gamer but now I’m more of a PC gamer. I’m really looking forward to playing some new board games with friends and discovering some new games.
Jade
I don't consider myself a gamer as such and I tend to panic when things get tense - I'm a bit of a liability really! I do enjoy board games though and games that need a bit of thought (like Rummikub) so The Good Gamers is right up my street!
Kyle
Traditionally a console gamer and a big fan of CCGs (Collectible Card Games), adult life has pushed me more towards games that are easy to pick up and put down and teach to a group. Known for an aggressive style in strategy games that usually means I’m the first one out.

Hi, I’m Dave. I grew up with classic board and console games, and through games nights with friends have progressed to contemporary equivalents. As happy with either competitive or cooperative games, I try to keep my metaphorical and actual cards close to my chest, hoping to fly under the radar and play the long game, with varying success!
